Supporting the national expansion of a restaurant brand.

The Italian restaurant brand Tripletta Pizza operates across several major French cities (Paris, Versailles, Lyon, Bordeaux, Marseille, Rennes, Lille), with each location embracing the unique character and distinct vibe of its neighborhood. The Tripletta team called on our agency to revamp their digital identity, corporate website, and e-commerce platform to support their national expansion strategy. We also provide ongoing support with photo and video content creation, as well as social media management. This long-term partnership continues to evolve in step with the group's ongoing growth and new restaurant openings.

Supporting and safeguarding the opening of a first establishment

Gourou Indian Food Company has opened its first restaurant at 42 rue Léon Frot, in Paris’s 11th arrondissement. The concept blends the codes of the Irani café, comfort food and street food, with two dining rooms designed to create two distinct atmospheres. We were involved across the entire project, from shaping the concept through to the first results, providing support in three phases: teaser, pre-opening, then post-opening follow-up.

Creating the brand for a place that belongs to the people who inhabit it

Le Marché des Argonautes is a covered food market on Boulevard Longchamp in Marseille. It brings together a range of trades and types of vendors: fresh produce, bakery, butcher, fishmonger, cheese and dairy, wine merchant, delicatessen and more. On top of this, there’s an events program and terrace seating where visitors can put together food and wine pairings or enjoy produce bought on site. We supported the project from the outset, covering brand strategy, visual identity, print rollout, website and social media. The chosen positioning, a meeting place for culinary cultures, addresses the challenge specific to this kind of venue: the brand mustn’t make the vendors all look the same. It has to orchestrate their diversity and offer a space for conviviality, sharing and enjoyment.

Unifying a collection of exceptional venues under a single brand

Time off Collection is a collection of luxury holiday rentals operated by a Monaco-based family office. The portfolio brings together homes and properties in Grasse, Saint-Tropez, Gassin and Verbier, along with a yacht charter offering. A portfolio of this kind raises a question of clarity: each property has its own character, yet the whole needs to read as a coherent collection. We were commissioned to create the visual identity and website that give this collection a clear structure, from the Riviera to the Swiss Alps.

Building a hospitality brand from the ground up, from the first property to the group’s expansion

Maison Juste is an upmarket guesthouse in Marseille that now has two properties. The concept is built on hospitality pared back to the essentials and enhanced by digital, freeing the guest experience from the constraints of traditional front-desk service while offering great value for money. We’ve supported Maison Juste from behind the scenes of their first property, before it had even opened, through to the group’s current expansion. Our brief covers brand strategy, visual identity, website, social media and signage: every touchpoint, from digital to the physical space.

FAQ

What is Welcome Brand?

Welcome Brand is a subsidiary of the branding agency Treize grammes. Its offering covers branding, websites, social media and PR, with a high degree of specialisation in food and hospitality. This allows it to orchestrate every aspect of communications for this kind of venue, turning their brand into a business asset that keeps working over the long term, well beyond the success of an opening.

How much does branding a restaurant or hotel cost?

At Welcome Brand, branding projects start from €4,800 excl. VAT, covering logos, graphic systems, illustrations and print applications for menus and small stationery items. This can go up to €12,000 excl. VAT for rebranding a multi-venue group with a franchise-style brand architecture, as the brand strategy and the materials to be rolled out downstream are far more ambitious. In that case, the budget is tailored to the geographic scope of the project. If the branding project also includes the website (design and development) and social media (art direction, content production and a 12-month posting schedule), the average budget sits at around €32,000 excl. VAT.

How long does a branding project take?

A standalone branding project generally runs over four weeks, while a project that includes the website takes around three months. Welcome Brand recommends starting the brand work four months before opening day, so that the identity, website and marketing materials (which usually take three weeks to produce) are ready in time for the launch.

How does a project with Welcome Brand work?

The work unfolds in three phases. First, brand strategy: understanding the venue, its concept and what sets it apart, then defining its positioning. Next, creative: visual identity, print applications and a turnkey website. Finally, rollout: going live, social media and PR, followed by ongoing support in step with new openings and the seasons.

Do you only work on new openings, or with existing venues too?

Both. Welcome Brand supports new openings and concept development, as well as the repositioning of existing venues and the growth of groups adding new locations that want to unify or refresh their brand experience. A venue that’s already open and wants to clarify or evolve its brand is very much within our scope.

What kinds of venues does Welcome Brand work with?

Welcome Brand works with destination venues: restaurants, hotels, guesthouses, private houses and function venues. Typical clients are restaurateurs and hoteliers who are growing one or more venues and care about their brand image. These places generally offer experiences that need to be communicated, and where image plays a central role.

Does Welcome Brand handle social media and PR?

Yes. Beyond branding and the website, Welcome Brand manages social media and PR, working in partnership with industry specialists. The aim is to cover every touchpoint of a venue, from its visual identity through to its media coverage, to deliver maximum impact and ensure a return on investment for this kind of project.
